Pregistry’s Friday Recipe: Pretzel Ice Cream Sandwiches

These delicious little treats are a perfect addition to any summer celebration!

Just grab your favorite ice cream (or a mix of flavors) and pretzels and sandwich away!

You can leave them as is or go extra with a drizzle of chocolate, or dip the sides in sprinkles, colored sugar, chopped nuts – the sky’s the limit!

And these sandwiches are very adaptable too – you can use sorbet or dairy-free ice cream for the filling, and gluten-free pretzels in place of regular!

Pretzel Ice Cream Sandwiches:

  • Your favorite flavor(s) ice cream, slightly softened
  • Square “windowpane” style pretzels
  • Colored melting wafers (optional)

Place a small scoop of softened ice cream on half of the pretzels. Use the remaining pretzels to press down on top of the ice cream to create a sandwich. Freeze till solid.

If desired, drizzle with melted wafers; keep frozen till ready to serve.
