Pregistry’s Friday Recipe: Parmesan Crisps

One-ingredient (yes, you read correctly!) parmesan crisps are not only quick and easy (did we mention they are one ingredient?), but they are surprisingly versatile tooDelicious on their own, they make a perfect snack to serve with drinks (or on a cheese board). But they are also a unique and pretty topping for a mixed green salad, or as an accompaniment to your favorite soup.

You can transfer them flat from the oven to cooling rack, or drape them over a rolling pin, for pretty curved “tuiles”.

Ingredients:

  • 1 – 2 cups finely grated parmesan

Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees; line 1 – 2 baking sheets with silicone mats or parchment paper.

Place mounds of cheese on your baking sheets (about 2 tablespoons); pat lightly into circles.

Bake for 5 – 7 minutes, or till golden brown around the edges. Immediately transfer to a wire rack to cool. For curved “tuiles”, place crisps on a rolling pin before transferring to a rack to cool.
