No more solitary confinement

This is important for you because solitary confinement is a form of torture; it can make people’s minds crack. Children should certainly never be held in such a state.

Postpartum violence

This South Carolina deputy beat up his girlfriend – who became his wife – both times she was pregnant. According to Dr. Jennifer Gunter, pregnancy and the postpartum period increase the risk of intimate partner violence. Read more here.
