Pregistry’s Friday Recipe: Parmesan-Stuffed Dates

Three ingredients never had it so good!

This appetizer will fly off the table, and couldn’t be easier to make. Simply stuff pitted dates with parmesan cheese, wrap with bacon and bake. The combination of sweet dates, salty parmesan and savory bacon make for a huge flavor from such a little bite!

We used turkey bacon here but feel free to substitute your favorite – and this recipe easily scales up to serve a crowd!

Parmesan-Stuffed Dates:

  • 18 1” x 1/4” sticks of parmesan cheese (you want to cut a size and shape that can fit inside a standard pitted date)
  • 18 pitted dates
  • 6 slices of turkey bacon, cut crosswise into thirds

Pre-heat the oven to 450 degrees; line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper. Gently stuff each date with a stick of parmesan cheese. Wrap with bacon and secure with a toothpick.

Place on your prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through. Drain on paper towels and serve immediately.
