For most women who are a healthy weight before pregnancy, weight gain of 25 to 35 pounds is normal and recommended during pregnancy. Women who are underweight before pregnancy may gain more, and women who are overweight or obese may gain less. Read more here!

ADRENAL INSUFFICIENCY DURING PREGNANCY

It’s January 20, 1961. You flip on your brand new black and white TV to watch the inauguration of the 35th president of the United States, the youngest president ever elected. PREGNANCY BACK PAIN: WHEN TO WORRY

When I was pregnant, it wasn’t until my second trimester that I began to experience back pain. It was a mild ache in my middle back, on the left side that persisted throughout (and beyond) my pregnancy. I did my very best, under the advice of my physician, to maintain my exercise regimen of stretching, yoga, and pilates, modifying the exercises to accommodate my growing belly. But still, the changes in my body caused me pain. This is not an uncommon occurrence for pregnant women. Read more here!
